JOB DESCRIPTION:
The ChildLink Unit Supervisor reports to the Program Director. The Unit Supervisor directs and monitors Senior Service Coordinators and Service Coordinators in their work to ensure that early intervention and non-early intervention services and supports are provided to eligible children and their families.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Interview and make recommendations regarding Service Coordinator candidates
* Provide direction and supervision to Senior Service Coordinators in their role and responsibilities regarding their caseload and role in training and mentoring Service Coordinators
* Complete performance reviews
* Ensure that caseloads are equitable across the program
* Ensure that Service Coordinators meet compliance and time line requirements related to completing MDEs, IFSPs, quarterly reviews, transition planning, and discharges
* Ensure that each Service Coordinators meets the productivity requirement each month
* Oversee and manage Service Coordinator performance issues
* Collect required data and complete all required documentation and reports
* Assist in the analysis, writing and presentation of program findings
* Participate as part of a management team to plan, coordinate and implement program interventions, policies and procedures
* Facilitate and develop referral relationships with other organizations
* Participate in meetings, trainings and conferences as required
* Complete other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills and experience required. Experience and skills in service coordination/case management are required plus a minimum of four years of work experience in social or human services field.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
At a minimum a Unit Supervisor should have earned a Master's degree and 12 college credits in early intervention, early childhood special education, early childhood education, child development, special education, family counseling, family studies, social welfare, or psychology.
