IDentiKey is an innovative and market disrupting seed stage company seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Engineer with expertise in Figma / React to join our dynamic team. As a UI/UX Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our web-based applications. Your primary focus will be on creating intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and performance, developing an industry leading data governance platform supporting mission critical industries in Financial Services, Government, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Technology, Higher Education, and others. The platform will handle millions of process requests per day where secure, distributed, encryption / decryption, data access transactions must be highly performant and reliable.

Role Responsibilities

1.    User-Centric Design:

·        Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to understand user needs and requirements.

·        Translate user requirements into elegant and functional UI/UX designs.

2.    React Development:

·        Leverage your expertise in React to build interactive and performant web components.

·        Develop reusable UI components.

3.    Wireframing and Prototyping:

·        Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts.

·        Iterate on designs based on feedback and usability testing.

4.    Responsive Design:

·        Ensure seamless experiences across various devices and screen sizes.

·        Optimize UI elements for mobile, tablet, and desktop views.

5.    Front-End Implementation:

·        Develop / implement UI designs using React and related technologies.

·        Collaborate closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components.

6.    Accessibility and Performance:

·        Prioritize accessibility standards (WCAG) and optimize performance.

·        Conduct performance testing and address any bottlenecks.

7.    Continuous Learning:

·        Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

·        Share knowledge with the team and contribute to a culture of learning.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
• Proficiency in React development.
• A portfolio showcasing your work, including React-based projects.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with wireframe tools (e.g., Figma, Wireframe.cc, InVision).
• Knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong team spirit and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Adept at realizing founder’s vision to develop interfaces with a “Wow Factor” appealing to both customers and potential investors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
