UI/UX Designer & Frontend Engineer with 3-4 years' experience responsible for creating visually appealing interfaces and implementing responsive designs that deliver exceptional user experiences across web platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work on website projects using traditional HTML/CSS/JS as well as the React.js framework
• Develop and launch new features for existing web platforms using agile methodology
• Support with the development of new web applications
• Use your problem-solving skills to support the team through QA cycles
• Work closely with back-end teams to integrate sites into purpose-built APIs to serve data and content
• Work closely with our design teams to ensure that visual designs are implemented to the highest standard
• Create user-centered designs through wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes
• Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions

Qualifications

• 3-4 years professional experience in UI/UX design and frontend development
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with React.js and modern frontend development
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Ability to translate design requirements into functional interfaces
• Strong visual design skills with attention to detail
• Portfolio demonstrating previous work in both design and development

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Knowledge of design systems implementation
• Experience with user testing methodologies
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
