About the Job

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join the Archie Bolden team to design and create digital solutions for all of our affiliated businesses (5 in the family) and external clients of Opus Eve. As a UI/UX Designer, you will Design responsive, user-friendly web and mobile interfaces and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our design system and user experience strategy. This position is full time in our Bogota office. Hybrid is not an option.

Key Responsibilities

User-Centered Design: 

• Assist in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications, ensuring seamless and engaging experiences.
• Assist in Developing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and usability best practices (WCAG, ADA).

User Research & Testing:

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to validate design decisions.
• Translate research findings into actionable design improvements.

Collaboration & Implementation:

• Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and proper implementation.
• Maintain and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across products.
• Assist on Presenting and defend design decisions to product teams and executives.

Leadership & Mentorship:

• Mentor junior designers, providing feedback and guidance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to innovation within the design team.
• Participate in strategic discussions around user experience and product design.

Requirements & Qualifications

 Experience:

• 4+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work.
• Skilled in wireframing, prototyping, and user flow design

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Balsamiq or similar tools.
• Collaborates with developers to ensure implementation quality
• Maintains and applies design system components
• Conducts user testing and integrates feedback
• Creates clear documentation for handoffs and feedback cycles

User Research & Testing:

• Strong ability to conduct usability tests, A/B testing, and heatmap analysis.
• Experience using tools like Hotjar, Google Analytics, or Maze to analyze user behavior.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions.
• Ability to take ownership of design projects and work independently.
• Passion for problem-solving and improving the user experience.
