Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time UI Designer I in our San Diego, CA office (fully on-site). This role is responsible for creating exceptional visual interface systems across digital and on-device HMI, and branded graphics to support cross-functional initiatives. This is a high-impact, execution-focused role for someone with a love for detail, an excellent grasp of UI principles, and the ability to translate creative direction into thoughtful visual output.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive, and brand aligned graphical interfaces across mobile, web, and physical product platforms.
• Translate creative direction into high-quality, production-ready assets to support brand and marketing functions.
• Produce wireframes, mockups, and low-to-high fidelity prototypes to communicate concepts and create A/B tests throughout the design process.
• Create, catalog, and deploy graphics assets to ensure a consistent brand expression across company functions.

Qualifications

• A stellar portfolio of work to demonstrate design experience, with a focus on visual aesthetics.
• 2-4 years of experience in UI Design and/or Graphic Design.
• Experience working within brand systems.
• Understanding of user research methodologies, A/B Testing, and accessibility best practices.
• Experience with prototyping for digital and on-device HMI.
• Experience iterating quickly and developing at start-up speed.
• Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative suite.
• A passion for robotics technology and it's potential to benefit humanity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Motion graphics experience
• Basic front-end understanding on web
