As a UI Designer, you’ll be an essential part of our creative, cross-functional teams, designing the future digital experiences for our customers. You’ll craft elegant, intuitive, and premium interfaces that bring our digital touchpoints to life — ensuring every interaction feels seamless, beautiful, and unmistakably Fisher & Paykel.
You'll help refine, elevate, and continuously improve the Premium User Experience across all our digital channels.
About The Role
The UI Designer works alongside multi-disciplinary creative teams and is responsible for crafting visually compelling, accessible, and brand-aligned user interfaces across all digital touchpoints.
Working within the UX Design Team, this role plays a crucial part in challenging and refining digital solutions to deliver seamless and innovative customer experiences, actively contributes to the evolution of the Design System, upholds design quality through collaboration and review as well as actively helping to evolve and develop our processes and frameworks and our Design System.
This is a role where your eye for detail, design craft, and system thinking will help drive outstanding, premium digital experiences across every interaction.
About You
Your greatest assets are your passion for digital design, your “can-do” attitude, and your love for creative problem-solving through Design Thinking. You are self-organised, always put the user first and are unafraid to challenge the status quo. You dare to fail and learn from it.
You have 3-5 years of experience working as a UI Designer in a digital delivery environment. You have experience working in a large-scale organisation (ideally with a global lens). You have strong commercial acumen, with the communication and influencing skills to drive alignment and operational excellence across a wide range of stakeholders.
On the technical side, you bring proven experience designing UI for web and touch-based experiences (e.g., apps, tablets, kiosks) that have delivered measurable customer and commercial outcomes.
You will be someone confident working closely with developers and navigating an Agile environment, with a strong proficiency Figma and design/prototyping tools.
