Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate UE5 Lead Game Programmer to join our AI-driven 3D game development team. You will be responsible for designing and developing core game systems, particularly focusing on AI behavior, gameplay mechanics, and performance optimization. This role requires close collaboration with designers, artists, and other programmers to create an immersive gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of game architecture based on Unreal Engine 5, covering core modules such as gameplay systems, quest systems, and UI.

Design and implement high-performance NPC AI systems, including finite state machines, AI controllers, and navigation meshes.

Develop and optimize gameplay features to ensure system stability and scalability.

Optimize toolchains and game performance, establish development guidelines, and implement performance testing and automation pipelines.

Collaborate closely with the team to drive implementation of technical solutions and ensure efficient project execution.

Debug and resolve technical issues to enhance overall stability and player experience.

Qualifications

任职资格

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field.

2+ years of experience in game development; Proficiency in Game Programming and Gameplay Programming. Experience with Game Design principles and practices

Proficient in C++ and Blueprints; familiar with Unreal Engine internals such as networking, animation, and the Gameplay Ability System (GAS).

Strong self-motivation and passion for game development, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Solid problem-solving abilities and the capacity to integrate and debug complex systems. Experience leading Unreal Engine architecture is a plus.
