Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain Ubuntu-based platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the system.
Create and manage software packages using standard packaging tools such as dpkg and apt.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and deploy Ubuntu solutions to meet technical requirements.
Automate repetitive tasks through scripting and configuration management tools.
Conduct system performance analysis and provide recommendations for enhancements.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Ubuntu platforms and applications.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.

Skills Required

Strong experience with Ubuntu Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and management.
Proficiency in package management and software deployment processes.
Experience with shell scripting and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
Good understanding of networking, system security, and performance tuning principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with different stakeholders.

Requirement & Qualification

Minimum of 6 years of experience in Linux system administration, specifically with Ubuntu platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., LPIC, Ubuntu Professional) are a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
Willingness to participate in on-call support and after-hours work as needed.
