The Role


Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:

· Maintain and update the Operations Manual, SORA regulatory package, and CONOPS.

· Prepare and submit Operational Authorisation packages.

· Manage ACP processes and collaborate with ANSPs.

Fleet & Mission Management:

· Provide integration support for clients on UAV/Payload integrations tailored to each mission set.

· Oversee the maintenance, procurement of spares, and airworthiness of the UAS fleet.

· Recruit, train, and supervise UAS support personnel for operations planning, flight supervision, and fleet maintenance.

Stakeholder & Business Support:

· Offer operational and technical expertise for bids, demonstrations, and client inquiries.

· Manage key relationships with OEMs, integrators, and regulators.

· Work with technical teams on airspace integration and autonomy research and development.


Qualifications and Experience

Requirements:

· Proven experience in drafting and maintaining compliant Operations Manuals.

· Strong knowledge of CAP 722, EU 2019/947, SORA, and related regulations.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

· Confident in liaising with CAA/EASA inspectors and airspace partners.

· Extensive experience in UAS Operations.

Desirable:

· Participation in industry working groups.

· Exposure to meteorological or atmospheric science.

· Project management qualifications.

· Familiarity with AI tools and Vibe coding.

· First Aid and H&S certifications.

A salary of circa £45k-£50,000
