Summary

Peak Partners has a client who is a Government Contractor for both the Intelligence and NGA communities, who is looking for a Team Lead who has Product Management experience. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can offer hands-on technical assistance, ideally in Knowledge Engineering or Data Engineering. In addition, the right candidate will be a strong client-facing support for the Client’s projects.

The job requires an on-site presence at the government agencies located either in Washington, DC and Reston, Virginia.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the on-site lead and primary point of contact for both the customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of a small, high-performing engineering team.
  • Coordinate with government leads and other contractors to align technical execution with mission goals.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable technical tasks and project plans.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and mission alignment.
  • Support team mentoring, career development, and performance evaluation.
  • Provide hands-on technical contributions as needed in the areas of data architecture, knowledge modeling, or data pipelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS//SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical teams or projects, ideally within the Intelligence Community.
  • Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills.
  • Background in Knowledge Engineering, Data Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Experience working in the Intelligence Community, preferably with the Defense Intelligence Agency or the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ontology development, semantic technologies, or knowledge graph implementations.
  • Experience navigating multi-contractor environments and facilitating cross-team collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
