The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, including experience in framing, siding, and finish work. The successful candidate will be able to read blueprints and diagrams, use power tools and hand tools, and have a strong attention to detail. We are looking for someone who is reliable, has excellent problem-solving skills, and is committed to safety. Responsibilities: Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge. Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using carpenter's hand tools and power tools. Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws. Verify trueness of structure with plumb bob and carpenter's level. Inspect ceiling joists, wall studs, floor joists, and other framing members to ensure that they are level and plumb. Install structures and fixtures such as windows, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim using a carpenter's level, plumb bob, and other carpentry tools.
