We are currently seeking a proactive, organized, and experienced Operations Manager to join our leadership team and support our continued growth.

Position Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations, ensuring that crews work safely, efficiently, and in alignment with the company’s standards. This role requires strong leadership, logistical planning, and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include scheduling, resource management, quality control, and supporting client relations in the field. The Operations Manager will also assist with business development and client acquisition efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Oversee daily operations and scheduling of tree care crews and equipment

·        Coordinate logistics for job sites, ensuring efficient deployment of personnel and materials

·        Monitor work quality, job site safety, and crew performance

·        Serve as liaison between crews, clients, and office staff to ensure clear communication and customer satisfaction

·        Manage and maintain fleet, equipment, and inventory in coordination with the Fleet Manager

·        Support the hiring, onboarding, training, and development of field staff

·        Implement and enforce company policies, safety standards (OSHA, ANSI Z133), and compliance requirements

·        Track job costs, labor hours, and report on key performance metrics

·        Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

·        Assist with production on specialty jobs, or as needed

·        Support estimating and sales efforts

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in operations or field management, preferably in tree care, landscaping, or related industry
• Strong understanding of arboricultural practices and tree care services
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the tree care industry
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)
• ISA Certified Arborist or other industry credentials are a plus
