About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects across the U.S. in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Industrial sectors.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys seeing projects through from concept to completion while traveling to various job sites.

You’ll be the key liaison between field teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end construction project management for ground-up, retrofit, and tenant improvement projects in life sciences and/or industrial settings.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, safety compliance, and quality control.
• Coordinate closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, and internal teams.
• Conduct regular site visits, meetings, and reporting to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Identify and resolve project issues and risks proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, particularly those relevant to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), clean room environments, and industrial safety.
• Drive project closeouts, punch lists, and handovers.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, with a recent focus on Life Sciences, Pharma, Biotech, or Industrial facilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 80% or as needed per project).
• Proven track record managing complex, high-value projects ($5M+).
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, Procore, etc.), and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
• PMP or other project management certifications (a plus).
