Job Description: Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician III (Contract)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities in the Bay area.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to different healthcare facilities to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on biomedical equipment
• Install new equipment and ensure proper functioning
• Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions
• Order parts and supplies as needed
• Document all maintenance and repair activities
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician
• Strong knowledge of medical equipment and technology
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and travel to different locations
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass background and drug screen.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
