As a School-based SLP, The Applicant Will

• Assess students for communication delays or speech impairments
• Report on test results and make recommendations for appropriate goals and therapy plans
• Consultwith colleagues, students, and/or parents on a regular basis; ensure accurate records in order to update progress reports
• Participate in a evaluative and consultative processes to ensure children are getting appropriate support, including: Child Find, Speech Screenings, Response to Intervention, Record Review, Eligibility and Dismissal meetings
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to Special Education and FERPA
