Transmission Analyst, Utilities

THE POSITION:
At STACK, the Transmission Analyst, Utilities will report to the Vice President, Utilities to support assigned projects and the Utilities team. The Development Associate is responsible for supporting all utility related activities, including: tracking the status of projects, mapping utility processes, support management of consultant workstreams, tracking of utility agreements, tracking utility payments, tracking and managing utility intelligence, and supporting any strategic initiatives and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, strong problem solving skills, and have the ability to operate in a fast moving environment which introduces new challenges each day while having strong relationship and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Direct support of the Vice President and Director of Utilities to ensure all projects are organized and tracked effectively.
Oversee and manage contracts and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support the creation and preparation of presentation materials for leadership, clients and investors.
Support management of project trackers to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is shared throughout the organization.
Prepare presentations, track market activity, and provide weekly and biweekly reports.
Collaborate with finance, construction, design and engineering, sales, legal, tax, and consultative resources.
Aid in the preparation of business cases and recommendations for leadership approval
Assist with process improvement initiatives across the department.
THE DETAILS:
Location: Denver (preferred), Northern Virginia, Remote for the right candidate
Travel: Up to 20% domestically
COVID Vaccination: Required for Denver HQ office upon start date
Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 + bonus potential
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must pass comprehensive background screening.
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree in a business or technical discipline
Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline preferred.
Minimum 5 years of prior experience in utilities, energy, data centers, or other mission-critical facility functions
Strong analytical, detail-oriented, creative thinking, and communication skills
Comfort creating processes and implementing strategies and procedures that serve an organization.
Ability to execute, process, and prioritize tasks with minimal-to-no supervision.
Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with internal staff, external consultants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Baseline understanding of accounting principles related to budget development and oversight preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite
