We warehouse and embellish our garments right here in San Angelo.

Job Title: Screen Print Process Associate
Reports To: Screen Print Supervisor

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Screen Print Supervisor, the Screen Print Process Associate builds foundational skills by supporting press operators, inspecting products for quality, and participating in daily improvement activities. Designed for hands-on learning, it prepares team members for future specialization while fostering teamwork, attention to detail, and a Lean mindset. Associates play a key role in maintaining production standards, eliminating waste, and delivering high-quality products to Gandy Ink customers while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential Job Functions
Quality Assurance
Inspect product for defects, including alignment, registration, pinholes, and ink consistency, ensuring they meet Gandy Ink’s quality standards and support the Print Teams quality metric goals
Perform pre-production checks, such as verifying artwork and screen print alignment
Record and communicate quality concerns promptly to press operators and leadership
Assist in identifying root causes of defects and contribute to process improvements
Production Support
Assist in loading and unloading garments from the press efficiently and accurately
Assist Screen Printers with ink preparation, screen setup, and press maintenance
Keep production areas organized by staging materials and cleaning tools such as squeegees and flood bars
Support smooth workflow by monitoring press operations and addressing minor issues
Lean, Teamwork, Cross-Training, and Growth
Engage in daily 3S (Sort, sweep, standardize) activities
Contribute to a culture of continuous “2-Second Improvements” by identifying, experimenting with, and implementing daily improvements
Collaborate and cross-train between quality assurance and print assistance to support future specialization
Other Duties
Maintain accurate on-press production records (Shopworks Production Logs)
Follow all SOP’s, and offer suggestions for improvements
Other duties as assigned to support department and company needs

Qualifications:
Strong skills in work planning and scheduling
Must have excellent judgment of color, design, and print quality
Must uphold and display all Gandy Ink Core Values
High school degree or equivalent
Must be reliable, responsible, and take direction well
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Honesty and integrity
