Job Opportunity: COMMERCIAL TRANSACTION ASSOCIATE Jellum Law, P.A., a banking and financial services law firm serving clients regionally and nationally, seeks a full-time highly motivated associate attorney. The attorney will be a member of our transaction team focusing on U.S. Small Business Administration (“SBA”) lending transactions. Our ideal candidate will have a degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law, as well as possessing 2-5 years of applicable lending experience, including negotiating loan documentation, review of title work and surveys, review of UCC/lien searches, review of lease and lease related agreements, review of purchase agreements and sale documentation, and experience with other related due diligence items. They should be detail oriented, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage a large, multi-faceted and fast paced workload. They will possess the ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as under the guidance of others. SBA lending experience is not required, but it is preferred.
