We’re looking for an experienced, energetic and motivated Transaction Manager to provide instrumental support to a high-performing industrial team located at our Toronto West office. This role is a blend of both strategic and tactical levels and will manage transaction activities for a wide variety of clients ranging from private firms to multinational corporations. About You
- You hold a real estate salesperson licens
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of comparable experience (for example, deal management, contracts, and legal documentation)
- You are a confident communicator who can effectively support a top team in a fast paced and agile environmen
- You can effectively interpret and present complex information to individuals and groups
- You are well-organized and able to manage multiple files with tight deadlines, all while maintaining accuracy.

What You Will Do
Manage the activities associated with each stage of a transaction, from contract to closing.
Implement real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic real estate goals. Assist with project initiation and scope definition, site-selection and tours, prioritization of assignments, and adherence to client-driven priorities, commitments, and milestones.
Concurrently act as landlord/seller agent and tenant/buyer agent and effectively negotiate the business terms and conditions for a wide variety of commercial real estate products, including land, office, retail and industrial.
Coordinate field broker selection and other required resources, subject matter experts, and business partners. If necessary, facilitate client review and approval of proposed team resources for the purpose of transaction execution.
Draft and create a large variety of analyses and relevant documents, including but not limited to project initiation, market comparable reports, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), proposal comparison packages, letters of intent, and broker's opinions of value.
Coordinate the negotiation of sales through a field broker, and negotiate leases and lease amendments. Monitor lease expirations, and negotiate lease renewals within prescribed timeline. Locate and acquire new properties to meet client's requirements and timeline. Dispose of surplus properties within prescribed timeline.
Work closely with CBRE and/or client's Lease Administration, Project Management, Facility Management, and Finance/Accounting teams to ensure integration between the service lines.
Monitor and maintain a real estate project tracking system to ensure timely transaction completion. Prepare reports and presentations for relevant parties.
Adhere to all provincial real estate agency requirements. Ensure compliance with CBRE's corporate policies as they relate to identifying and mitigating potential conflicts of interest.
Resolve landlord and tenant disputes and provide a high-level of service performing any other tasks as required to support to our clients.
Review, analyze, and interpret financial analysis templates including book and cash flow projections, NPV (net present value), and/or IRR (internal rate of return) financial analyses to enable clients to make more informed decisions is an asset.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Real Estate Salesperson license
- Knowledge of financial terms and principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
