JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking a Training & Development Specialist to develop engaging and effective learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have expertise in instructional design principles, e-learning development tools, and adult learning theories. They will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create high-quality training materials that support organizational learning objectives. Additionally, they will be responsible for delivering training sessions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, and other learning resources.
• Keep procedures and processes up to date so they align properly with our training material.
• Teach classes and facilitate training sessions in both virtual and in-person environments.
• Work with SMEs to gather content, define learning objectives, and ensure instructional soundness.
• Utilize e-learning authoring tools to develop interactive and engaging courses.
• Apply adult learning principles, instructional design models (ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, etc.), and multimedia best practices.
• Create assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes and course effectiveness.
  
  

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in instructional design, training & development, and/or e-learning.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring and designing tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Vyond, Canva, etc.).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM standards.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience training in a corporate environment
• Knowledge of gamification, microlearning, and blended learning strategies.
