Role Purpose: Our Training & Development Manager is responsible for understanding capability needs of the team and building programs and development pathways that will ensure we have the capability in place to deliver the business needs for both today and the future.
Responsibilities
- Offer support in building the commercial talent strategy for Customer Service and Sales team.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for improvement in structure and effectiveness of Customer Service & Sales teams, especially through a talent & capabilities lens
- Work closely with leadership to define their requirements and build programs that meet the needs of today and future requirements. Support leaders in having coaching conversations and building capabilities in their teams.
- Understands internal client’ needs and delivers tailored talent solutions that align with team goals. Ensuring they are up to date with the process and encouraging them to continue to move at speed to ensure the successful security of the best candidate. Support the detailing of success profiles.
- Utilizing the Customer Service & Sales family success profiles, building development programs which both deliver performance in roles for today and enable career pathway development. Designing & ensuring delivery of development programs. Working with external providers to deliver outstanding programs. Supporting leadership in succession management especially for critical roles.
- Developing and facilitating the delivery of onboarding programs for Customer Service and the Sales/Relationship Management teams. Ensuring individuals are confident to perform at standard in role. Looking for opportunities to continuously improve programs to maximize speed to performance.
- Tracking and reporting on effectiveness of development programs and interventions, using latest capability metrics to assess ROI and impact on individual and business performance.
- Coordinate training and development activities, ensuring individuals & providers are prepared for their programs, have the tools they need to be successful and relevant follow-up activities are completed in a timely and effective manner.
- Role-modelling performance coaching capability and supporting lone managers build their confidence and capability in having coaching conversations with their team.

Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in L& D or a talent/capability role OR an HRBP role where there has been a high focus on capability & L& D
- Experience in raining needs analysis and development metrics
- Strong experience in designing and delivering training programs
- Experience supporting customer service and sales in building robust development programs, particularly around onboarding
- Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders with tight deadlines for delivery
- Coaching line managers
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Psychology or related field
- Knowledge of adult learning styles and effective layering techniques
- Understanding of Neuroscience and its application in an organizational development setting would be highly desirable
- Success Profiles, Korn Ferry Competencies and SHL OPQ behaviors
