Training & Development Coordinator Summary : Responsible for improving the productivity of the organization’s employees through planning, implementation and management of employee training and development programs. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable employee training solutions. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize performance. Fosters a culture of continuous learning and development with the organization Responsibilities: Maintains the company's Learning Management System (LMS) Provide administrative support to training teams, including handling inquiries and managing training calendars. Facilitate training sessions using various instructional techniques. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update training content. Compile and prepare training report Ensure all training programs comply with relevant laws and regulations. Conducts training and development needs assessments. Develop training and development programs and objectives. Obtains and /or develops effective training materials using a variety of media. Trains and coaches’ managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts. Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training event's and maintains organizational communications to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources . Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results. Modifies programs as needed. Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff. Other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor. Knowledge and Abilities : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives. Manages paper files and electronic records. Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Able to interpret instructions both written and oral. Able to work in a team with co-workers to resolve work issues. Able to communicate effectively in English. Education and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in developing employee training programs, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Physical Demands : Must be able to walk to other areas of the plant as well as lift up to 20 pounds. Must have good eyesight and hand dexterity. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Work Environment : Within safety guidelines, there will be exposed to noise, moving mechanical parts, oils/solvents, fumes, and odors that may affect the eyes, ears, nose, throat and/or skin.
