Summary

Role Overview

  • The ChangeMaker role is vital for driving transformation among youth, within communities, and at the centre level.
  • Responsible for youth enrolment, training, and guiding them through a transformational journey.
  • Inspire youth to take new opportunities and become future change agents.
  • Work in a team of 2-3 to manage the centre operations and collaborate with the head office in Bangalore.
  • Ensure timely enrolments, training, and placements while building RAAH Foundation and Unnati’s credibility.
  • Expected to operate centres independently and efficiently using available resources.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with departments are key to success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitation and placement of students:
  • Facilitate training sessions following the course structure and guidance from Senior ChangeMakers.
  • Engage students in understanding and embodying the organization’s core values.
  • Monitor student participation and progress; offer additional support where needed.
  • Coordinate with HO, counsellors, and placement officers to ensure timely program activities.
  • Support the student placement process through collaboration with placement officers.
  • Outreach – enrolment of students and alumni visits:
  • Identify and enrol eligible youth from the community.
  • Communicate program details and placement opportunities to parents/guardians.
  • Attend local community events to promote Unnati.
  • Build relationships with other NGOs to enhance the organization's credibility.
  • Engage with Unnati Alumni for referrals and invite them to share experiences with current batches.
  • Administration of the centre:
  • Anchor daily assemblies; manage reporting, tracking, and communication with HO.
  • Handle expenses and maintain timely and accurate cash management.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments for administrative concerns (e.g., infrastructure, utilities).
  • Oversee day-to-day centre operations in coordination with fellow ChangeMakers.
  • Document and share social/success stories with HO for social media.
  • Amplify Unnati’s official social media content within personal and professional networks.

Selection Criteria

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any field
  • Experience: 0–2 years in the private or development sector
  • Languages: Proficiency in English and the local language

Note

  • Salary: ₹15,000–₹20,000 per month (based on experience)
  • Note: Selected candidates must undergo mandatory online and in-house training in Bangalore.
