Summary

JOB OVERVIEW Chandler & Campbelle Investment Group, in partnership with ABM Aviation, is seeking a qualified Traffic Dispatcher for our parking operations at Memphis International Airport. The Traffic Dispatcher will coordinate incoming traffic and dispatch vehicles efficiently to ensure seamless operations, while maintaining communication with drivers and management. This role is critical in keeping parking services running smoothly and providing exceptional customer service. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate incoming traffic and ensure a seamless traffic flow within the parking facilities. Assign and dispatch incoming fleet vehicles to designated parking locations using a computerized system, considering proximity and space availability to ensure prompt service. Communicate effectively with drivers and management via radio or other communication devices, relaying important information, special requests, or changes in plans. Monitor the progress of the fleet en route to customer locations, ensuring drivers adhere to scheduled pick-up times and assigned routes. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally, providing timely solutions or escalating issues to management when necessary. Assist with managing lost and found items, coordinating with drivers to ensure lost items are returned to their rightful owners in a timely manner. Maintain detailed records of dispatches, driver routes, customer interactions, and any incidents during the shift. Implement emergency protocols when necessary, such as contacting emergency services in case of accidents or assisting drivers in breakdown situations. Perform other duties as assigned by management. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Physical Demands: Frequently move around the property by walking for extended periods, sometimes for the entire duration of the shift. Stand for extended periods, occasionally for the entire duration of the shift. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise: Knowledge of airport operations and procedures is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight as needed. Must pass a background check, motor vehicle report (MVR), and drug screening. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and proactively. Operational knowledge of computers, two-way radios, cell phones, and electronic tablets.
