Traffic Control Person (TCP):
Job Summary: The TCP assists with the setup and tear down of the traffic pattern in addition to directing traffic through the work zone in a safe and efficient manner.
Reports To: Temporary Workplace Signers
Duties / Responsibilities:
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Available for work Monday through Friday. And some weekends
Assist with set up and tear down of the traffic pattern.
Direct traffic through the work zone in a safe and efficient manner.
Assist the Agent/Signer.
Required Skills / Abilities:
Ability to work long and flexible hours.
Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks.
Ability to recognize and warn others of dangerous situations.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs in weight.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to move and maneuver in a quick fashion to avoid dangerous situations
Educational Requirements:
Ability to pass the provincial Traffic Control Person Course
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
