We are currently seeking Traffic Control Flaggers to join our team through the state of Indiana. Flaggers will safely guide traffic through our work zones using signs and hand signals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Discusses traffic routing plans, and type and location of control points with superior.
  • Distributes traffic control signs and markers along site in designated pattern.
  • Directs movement of traffic through site, using sign, hand, and flag signals.
  • Warns construction workers when approaching vehicle fails to heed signals to prevent accident and injury to workers.
  • Informs drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
  • Records license number of traffic control violators.
  • Gives hand marker to last driver in line up of one-way traffic for Flagger at opposite end of site, signaling clearance for reverse flow of traffic.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time and work outside in varying weather conditions
  • Current driver’s license with good driving record
  • Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one
  • Travel frequently within the area for work assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year traffic control experience
