Designation: Trade Support Engineer (DevOps Engineer)

Job Description

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for live maintenance and support of the firm’s trading and data infrastructure
• Optimize the trading application infrastructure and operational processes by improving existing automation tools and developing new ones, building and maintaining our automation stacks
• Work with developers to deploy new servers and applications, reconfigure existing systems, and track changes made to the system
• Work closely with trading teams and other technology teams to achieve a common goal.
• Build and maintain tools and scripts central to the firm’s proprietary trading system
• Support our other teams with administration and operational tasks for the projects.
• Root Cause Analysis for outages
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• A bachelor's degree in computer science
• Knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, Ethernet, DNS, NAT, Routing, ACL)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) and experience with git
• A passion for new technologies and the drive to take initiative and proactively identify
• Opportunities for efficiency and automation
• The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and service oriented mindset
  
  

Preferred Experience

• 1-2 years of hands on experience in HFT/Trading domain and coupled with excellent communication skills
• Experience of working with highload zero-downtown environments
• Experience with monitoring and metric collect systems ( Checkmk, Grafana, Zabbix)
• Automation using tools like Ansible, Airflow etc
• Ability to work with Jenkins for CI/CD integration
• Linux administration experience and OS knowledge.
