Trade Support Engineer (DevOps Engineer)
Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Responsible for live maintenance and support of the firm’s trading and data infrastructure
- Optimize the trading application infrastructure and operational processes by improving existing automation tools and developing new ones, building and maintaining our automation stacks
- Work with developers to deploy new servers and applications, reconfigure existing systems, and track changes made to the system
- Work closely with trading teams and other technology teams to achieve a common goal.
- Build and maintain tools and scripts central to the firm’s proprietary trading system
- Support our other teams with administration and operational tasks for the projects.
- Root Cause Analysis for outages
Skills And Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- A bachelor's degree in computer science
- Knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, Ethernet, DNS, NAT, Routing, ACL)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) and experience with git
- A passion for new technologies and the drive to take initiative and proactively identify
- Opportunities for efficiency and automation
- The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and service oriented mindset
Preferred Experience
- 1-2 years of hands on experience in HFT/Trading domain and coupled with excellent communication skills
- Experience of working with highload zero-downtown environments
- Experience with monitoring and metric collect systems ( Checkmk, Grafana, Zabbix)
- Automation using tools like Ansible, Airflow etc
- Ability to work with Jenkins for CI/CD integration
- Linux administration experience and OS knowledge.
