If so, this Trade Marketing Activation Salon role within our Professional Products Division (PPD) is the perfect opportunity for you.

In This Role, You Will

  • Be the Salon Expert: Act as the critical link between Marketing and our Salon network, translating brand plans and activations into salon-specific programs and compelling in-salon experiences.
  • Craft Engaging Salon Promotions: Design and execute impactful promotions tailored for the salon environment, including exclusive offers, service bundles, loyalty programs, and seasonal events, all designed to drive client engagement and retail sales within salons.
  • Collaborate with Key Partners: Work closely with the Business Planning Manager and salon owners/managers to ensure alignment on sell-through strategies, identify opportunities for growth, and gather feedback to optimize future activations. Build strong relationships with key salon partners to ensure program success.
  • Manage the Salon Activation Calendar: Oversee the B2B Salon Commercial Calendar, collaborating closely with Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration with broader brand campaigns and initiatives. Develop and maintain resources like the Salon Activation Guide and monthly promotional materials to support our salon partners.
  • Analyze and Optimize: Conduct thorough post-promotion analyses to evaluate performance, identify successes and areas for improvement, and provide data-driven recommendations for future salon activations. Track key metrics like client engagement, retail sales growth, and salon participation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Salon Savvy: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role focused on Trade Marketing Activation, preferably within the FMCG, retail, or beauty industry. Existing relationships with salons are a plus!
  • Promotional Prowess: Proven track record in planning and executing successful promotions
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and measure the impact of salon activations.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential for building strong relationships with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Education) and external salon partners.
  • Proactive and Adaptable: A hands-on, proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are crucial for success in this role. A passion for the beauty industry and a genuine interest in supporting the growth of our salon partners is a must.
