Role and responsibilities
The Test & Measurement Engineer defines, performs and reports tests related to critical hardware risks of machine parts in development phase, translates failure modes/mechanisms into test methods under operational conditions and beyond eg. motion profiles, shock profiles, vacuum, temperature, high pressure, tribology. The T&M Engineer ensures adherence to WoW and processes. Furthermore the T&M Engineer establish and develops a framework for (reliability) testing of critical machine parts, feasibility of new concepts and design verification. This framework will contain the different failure modes applicable to ASML systems and will contribute to further increase of the overall reliability of ASML systems.

- (Sub) technical competence leadership
- Alignment with internal stakeholders (e.g. , team members, internal customers, Internal competence engineers, etc.)
- Representing TMF and maintaining network and stakeholders
- Write and review test plans for critical machine parts.
- Determine test strategy, principles and methods which represents operational environment.
- Formulate requirements for test equipment.
- Participate in the subcontracting and realization of the test setup
- Drive test plan and project planning alignment and perform (lifetime) tests accordingly.
- Actively contribute to the testing competency and framework
What We Expect From You
Education and experience
Bachelor of Science / Master of Science in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or likewise.
You have proven experience in testing on component and module level and are:
- Team player to enable team collaboration and shared deliverables
- Self-propelling, showing initiative and driving results
- Pragmatic
- Result driven
- Knowledge of physics of failure
- Knowledge of DfSS methods
- Knowledge of test & measurement equipment, MSA
- Flexible, ensuring accountability
