Test Engineer
location: Wrocław
Purpose Of Role
We are looking for a Test Engineer to assess prototype solutions using appropriate testing methods and tools. As a member of a dynamic Engineering team, you will work with innovative solutions for modern agriculture industry.
Test Engineer takes the technical lead in the hardware verification and validation of new products and testing their functionalities, including hardware and their interfaces.
Test Engineer defines test strategy to achieve targets and takes part in execution of this strategy. Test Engineer will also drive analysis of issues and testing of the potential solution for such issues.
In this position collaboration with, different groups within the department will take place in order to agree detailed scope of your task in project, prepare needed environment for verification and validation of the device under test, plan, execute and evaluate tests on the prototype, therefore secure high quality and safety of the final product and create technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for testing of prototype solutions (milking, feeding, cooling etc.)
- Create test documentation: test cases, test runs, test plans, test specification and test reports
- Define test strategy: which test cases/runs are needed in which order
- Support and troubleshoot field installations
- Take lead in analysis of issues that have been found during verification
What We Expect
- Min 3 years of professional experience in similar position
- Education: University degree in mechanical/electrical engineering
- Knowledge of HW testing methodologies
- Understanding products comprising of PLC control systems is nice to have
- Familiarity with different type of valves, sensors and actuators
- LabView visual programming language would be an advantage
- Fluent in English in written and spoken language
- Good communications skills with people of various backgrounds, technical as well as non-technical including end users
- Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
- Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision
- Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability
- Proactive attitude, analytically strong, flexible
