Position Overview:

We are seeking a PeopleSoft Test Engineer to support a federal government client in delivering reliable, high-performance PeopleSoft applications. This hybrid role requires an individual with strong expertise in both manual and automated testing, including proficiency with PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), Selenium, and other tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in manual and automated testing methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficiency in PTF, Selenium, QTP, and SQL
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and module functionalities
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter) is a plus
• Skilled in defect tracking tools like JIRA or HP ALM
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• 3+ years of experience in PeopleSoft testing (HCM, FSCM, CRM, or other modules).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for PeopleSoft applications
• Perform both manual and automated testing across functional modules
• Utilize PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), Selenium, and QTP for automation
• Validate test data using SQL and ensure end-to-end data integrity
• Conduct performance testing using tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter (preferred)
• Track and manage defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
• Support continuous improvement in testing standards and practices
