  • Develop and maintain KPIs to track test effectiveness and support site-wide continuous improvement programs.

  • Actively participate in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen events to optimize workflow, eliminate waste, and elevate test throughput.

  • Provide feedback to engineering and design teams on test-related product improvements and optimization opportunities.

Cross-Functional & Customer-Focused Support

  • Collaborate with production, planning, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of test processes into daily operations.

  • Support technician training and troubleshooting, ensuring consistency and adherence to test procedures.

  • Provide technical support during customer visits, audits, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).

  • Contribute to cross-site standardization of test methods, process documentation, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in test engineering within an electronics manufacturing environment (EMS industry experience strongly preferred).

  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing automated and manual test solutions using tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++, or Python.

  • Solid understanding of electronic assemblies and diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as IPC, ISO 13485, and AS9100, and how they influence test planning and compliance.

  • Proven track record of improving test coverage, first-pass yield, and operational efficiency through data-driven approaches.

  • Experience in coaching or mentoring technical staff to support team development and knowledge transfer.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on accountability and performance improvement.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and with customers.

Additional Requirements:

Travel up to 10-15% to support customer interaction, test equipment setup, or multi-site deployment. Flexibility to support off-shift or weekend activities as needed during critical production windows.
