Test Engineer (m/f/d) for software in safety-relevant systems

For a dynamic, future-oriented company in the ? of Erlangen we are currently looking for a Test Engineer (m/f/d) for software in safety-relevant systems.

The Erlangen-based company is a leader in the innovative field of nuclear technology and, as a global energy group with a focus on renewable energies and sustainable development, currently employs 14,000 people worldwide. The position is permanent and full-time (35 h / week).

The Tasks

• Planning, development, implementation and documentation of software tests according to standards
• Creation of test specifications and implementation of test automation
• Analysis of software errors and creation of error reports in the ticket system
• Review of development and test documentation as well as code reviews
• Documentation of test results, predominantly in English
  
  

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable subject area
• Several years of experience as a software developer or tester with C/C++
• Good knowledge of Python
• Ideally experience with coding guidelines (MISRA-C:2012) and version management (GIT)
• Knowledge of Linux is an advantage
• ISTQB® Certified Tester desirable
• Interest in hardware advantageous
• English language skills at B1 level
