Generates qualification test procedure and test report following requirements of industry standards per MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, RTCA/DO-160, and customer specification documents.
Performs a range of environmental test setups following the qualification test procedure.
Conducts functional testing on products during environmental testing.
Analyzes the measurement results to ensure the product meets the design specification and presents results in a concise manner.
Provides the status of the environmental testing to ensure the project schedule is on
task.
Assist in providing recommendations to resolve test setup problems and equipment
malfunctions that could impact the test performance and determine the root cause of
failure.
Travel to other lab facilities not exceeding 100 miles from Sensor Systems.
MINIMUN QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
At least two years of hands-on engineering experience is preferable.
Understanding basic RF concepts is preferable.
Understands test requirements and project schedules.
Ability to work with team members on multiple levels.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in interacting with customers on sites.
Ability to understand product process documentation (drawings, schematics, bill of materials, and manufacturing process document)
Ability to lift test equipment within legal standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
