Job Title: Tester Engineer

Daily Rate: 200 Euros/day

Role Description

The main function of the tester is to develop and perform software test plans, test scenarios, and test cases (manual testing, automation testing, and performance testing).

Required Responsibilities

• Designs test scenarios, test cases, scripts, or procedures
• Creates traceability matrix
• Uses available test tools, trackers, and environments to execute test scripts and produce all test deliverables and results
• Logs, tracks, and retests defects, creates and maintains a database of known test defects
• Tests system modifications to prepare for implementation
• Creates and ensures the availability of test data
• Keeps the test manager informed of issues affecting the schedule, budget, or quality of the product and/or testing process
• Improves the test methodology and approach by conducting lessons learned and applying best practices

Degree & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field
• Understanding and application of Agile (Scrum) principles

Technical Skills

• A junior tester will run tests/scripts presented to them, while a tester with slightly more experience will begin developing scripts independently
• Knowledge of design techniques
• Understanding of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, computer hardware & software, applications, and programming
