Design and develop test strategies, plans, and procedures for PCBA testing to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Set up, program, and operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for in-circuit testing (ICT) and functional testing (FCT) of PCBAs.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve failures or malfunctions in PCBAs, and suggest design improvements for manufacturability and reliability.
Perform functional and performance testing of electronic circuits and components to ensure they meet design requirements and regulatory standards.
Design, build, and maintain test fixtures and jigs for both functional and in-circuit testing to improve test efficiency and repeatability.
Create detailed test plans, test scripts, and test reports, documenting all testing activities, defects, and findings in a clear and concise manner.
Work closely with production, engineering, and design teams to continuously improve testing processes, identify root causes of failures, and recommend corrective actions.
Develop and implement automated test procedures using LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar software for automated testing solutions.
Ensure all PCBAs comply with industry standards such as IPC-610, ISO 9001, and any specific client or regulatory requirements.
Analyze test data, generate test reports, and provide feedback to engineering and manufacturing teams regarding product performance and quality metrics.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop test strategies for new product designs, ensuring efficient production testing for new PCBAs.
