Job Description (Test Automation Lead)

As a Test Automation Lead, you'll assume a crucial role in driving the adoption of advanced automation testing frameworks and methodologies. Your responsibilities extend to being a vital team member, contributing significantly to the shift from manual to automated testing practices, thereby ensuring the impeccable quality of software product deliveries.

Requirements

• Extensive expertise in automation testing with overall 7-10 years of experience, showcasing a robust track record.
• Proficient in building test automation framework using Playwright with typescript and Selenium TESTNG.
• Well-versed in building framework using Appium with Java for testing Android and iOS applications.
• Well-versed in integrating with cloud-based execution platforms like BrowserStack and Perfecto
• Well-versed in utilizing prominent tools such as Selenium, Rest assured, Postman, JMeter, Jenkins, and GitHub to enhance the testing process.
• UI/UX testing with appli tools or any open source tool .
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in web services, API, and contract testing.
• Proficient in Java and Typescript, with a keen understanding of their application in testing scenarios.
• Proven ability in crafting comprehensive test plans, strategies, and scripts to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Strong proficiency in developing test automation frameworks, including assessing framework capabilities, tool comparisons, and establishing standard metrics.
• Demonstrated skill in creating and implementing test automation scripts, coupled with the capability to conduct Proof of Concepts using emerging tools.
• Substantial experience in continuous integration, continuous testing, and continuous delivery, leveraging Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Effective stakeholder interaction skills, ensuring clear communication and collaboration within the team.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance on test automation best practices, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Proactive in identifying and resolving bottlenecks in the test automation process, continuously optimizing workflows for maximum efficiency.
• Excellent documentation skills, ensuring clear and comprehensive records of test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
