Our Opportunity:

  • This position is for a software quality assurance test automation engineer on the Sales and Service Technology team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and enhancing automated test plans solutions that support our business within a highly distributed Java Web Service application infrastructure.
  • The Sales and Service Technology team is a forward leaning development organization that leverages agile methodologies. This position will interact with business stakeholders and technology counterparts across many areas within client.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

  • Work with agile team members. Provide creative solutions via the application of technology in a highly dynamic environment. Implement software to meet functional requirements as well as robust, fault tolerant, and 24x7x365 available.
  • Provide expertise in web based, distributed, and cloud based computing application development.

Qualifications

What you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • 1 - 3 years' experience in quality assurance with distributed applications across the full development and operational support life cycle
  • Experience with Web Application, RESTful API TDD, BDD, and performance testing best practices and testing tools (Selenium, swagger, postman, jmeter, Cucumber, rest-assured)
  • Familiarity of the Java Spring Technology Stack and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (BitBucket, Maven, Bamboo, MongoDB, Kafka)

Skills

  • Interact with product managers, business analysts, and developers to define test plans and test cases for new and enhanced capability
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams, working collaboratively across team boundaries
  • Demonstrated ability to work alone or in a group while multi-tasking on different projects
  • Working knowledge of the Agile/Scrum development methodology a plus
