Job Description

This is a Permanent role with Pre-Seed Startup, A valued client of Saffron Search & Staffing.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's software products by designing and executing comprehensive test plans for both mobile and web. If you have good experience with Cypress, we definitely want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and software specifications.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Conduct thorough functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in test automation efforts using Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Protractor, Mocha, Chai, JMeter, and other relevant tools.
• Perform API testing using RESTful APIs.
• Implement and maintain automated test suites.
• Utilize Flutter integration test for mobile application testing (a plus).
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Perform ad-hoc testing as necessary to support the software development process.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging QA technologies.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer with expertise in testing web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Protractor, Mocha, and Chai.
• Experience with API testing using RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Knowledge of mobile testing, especially Flutter integration_test (a plus).
• Familiarity with test frameworks such as Jasmine and Junit.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
