Mission of the Role: Lead the Robofit Development team to shape the architecture of our Python-based Robofit framework, driving innovation and delivering robust, cost-effective solutions for regional teams and stakeholders.
Key Objectives of this Role:
- Define and drive the architectural vision for the Robofit Test Framework.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of 15+ software developers.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and provide effective solutions.
- Solve complex architectural challenges to ensure robustness and scalability.
- Oversee the design and implementation of cost-effective solutions within the Python ecosystem.
- Ensure the Robofit Test Framework meets automotive industry requirements.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Successful delivery of architectural designs aligned with business objectives.
- High-quality code delivery by the development team.
- Effective stakeholder collaboration and satisfaction.
- Robustness and scalability of the Robofit framework.
- Efficiency and maintainability of implemented solutions.
Key Year One Deliverables:
- Establish and implement the architectural vision for the Robofit framework.
- Mentor and develop the technical skills of the development team.
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions within the first year.
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and best practices.
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
- Master’s / bachelor’s degree in Engineering Domain.
- 16+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a regional or global environment.
- Experience collaborating with Executive Team and Business Leaders.
- 15+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on architectural roles within the automotive industry.
- Proven expertise in Python programming and the Python ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of Robot Framework.
- Deep knowledge of automotive communication protocols.
- Experience with ISO 26262 compliance and Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) standards.
- Solid understanding of Embedded Systems and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Extensive experience in Test Automation and Validation, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
- Experience with ARXML and AUTOSAR.
- Proficiency in Version Control Systems (e.g., GitLab).
- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of Diagnostics and UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services).
- Experience with Scripting and Simulation Tools.
- Expertise in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Multithreading and Asynchronous Programming.
- Experience with System Integration.
- Proven ability in Debugging and Profiling complex software systems.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong Communication and Collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of software developers.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with penetration testing, fuzz testing, vulnerability scanning tools, and other cybersecurity testing techniques.
- In-depth understanding of ISO/SAE 21434 and ISO 26262 for automotive cybersecurity.
- Understanding of different cybersecurity concepts, securing network communications, and protocols is required.
- Working experience in implementing cybersecurity testing methodologies and testing.
- Experience and understanding of conducting penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits added as an advantage.
- Understanding of cryptography, cybersecurity-based static and dynamic code analysis added as an advantage.
