Job Summary The Sr. Test Analyst role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products within the ISV and Hi-Tech domains. Responsibilities * Lead the design and implementation of test strategies for Android applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality. * Oversee the development and execution of automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. * Provide expertise in debugging Android applications identifying and resolving issues to enhance product quality. * Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test plans. * Conduct thorough testing of software products within the ISV and Hi-Tech domains ensuring compliance with industry standards. * Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting areas for improvement and potential risks. * Utilize advanced testing tools and techniques to optimize test coverage and reduce time-to-market. * Engage in continuous learning and adaptation of new testing methodologies to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving tech landscape. * Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the software development lifecycle. * Contribute to the development of best practices for test automation and Android testing fostering a culture of quality and innovation. * Ensure that all testing activities align with the companys goals and objectives driving success and customer satisfaction. * Participate in regular team meetings and provide insights on testing progress and challenges facilitating effective communication. * Support the implementation of hybrid work models balancing remote and on-site collaboration for optimal productivity. Qualifications * * Possess strong expertise in Test Automation with a proven track record of developing and executing automated test scripts. * Demonstrate proficiency in Android Testing and Debugging with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues. * Have experience in the ISV and Hi-Tech domains understanding the unique challenges and requirements of these industries. * Exhibit excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret test results and provide actionable insights. * Show adaptability in learning new testing tools and methodologies ensuring continuous improvement and innovation. * Display effective communication skills facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. * Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving anticipating potential issues and implementing preventive measures. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $105K - $118K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
