Test Analyst – Retail Applications Experience Mandatory

We are currently looking for a Test Analyst with mandatory experience in retail applications to join a key client project based in Melbourne. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in fast-paced retail environments and is confident testing complex, customer-facing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document testing for retail applications (POS, loyalty, inventory, or eCommerce systems)
• Develop and maintain test cases, test data, and traceability to requirements
• Identify, log, and track defects to closure using JIRA or similar tools
• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, product owners, and business stakeholders
• Support integration and UAT phases with high attention to quality

Must-Have Experience

• Retail application testing experience is mandatory (e.g., POS systems, retail platforms, stock/inventory, loyalty apps)
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience as a Test Analyst
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment

Location & Engagement

• Melbourne-based, with a hybrid work setup (2–3 days on-site)
