Requirements

The role of a Test Analyst is to work alongside your peers as a proxy project owner to ensure your technical peers have a clear understanding of the client’s requirements. This role is also responsible for the delivery of complex projects. Key attributes to role success are:

In addition, the Test Analyst supports the implementation team on delivery engagements with regard to internal aspects of the role and liaises closely with other managers both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities

• Design of automated test scenarios for complex Salesforce projects
• Keeping up-to-date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance
• Development and implementation of software functionality tests
• Preparation of reports on defects and problems that arise during software test
• Tracking of reported problems and defects using tracking software
• Preparation of software evaluation test reports
• Working directly on client projects
• Create and support other innovators in the organisation in the creation of solid business cases for new product development
• Build and maintain the roadmap for defined products including product enhancements
• Keeping up to date with the latest plans, developments and changes in the salesforce.com platform. This includes, but is not limited to ensuring you remain certified

Required Capabilities

• Good Understanding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Salesforce.com testing or testing of other SAAS application.
• Good understanding of Security Concepts which include Roles, Profiles and OWD Settings
• Good understanding of Salesforce Automations like Workflow, Approval Process, Process Builder, Flows
• Should be able to create test data using Data Loader
• Relevant business or technical discipline
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language
• Proactive thinking with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Understand and working experience of Agile Delivery Methodology as well as the standards of the software development lifecycle
• Exposure of reviewing and documenting requirements and configuration
• Strong problem solving skills, should be able to research and understand an undocumented set up and application
• Demonstrated experience of end to end system testing and documenting the same
• Willing to work in a team environment-Effectively
• Excellent communication and inter personnel skills
• good experience of Integration testing between Salesforce and any external system
  
  

Desired Capabilities

• Knowledge of other Salesforce clouds - Revenue / Commerce / Finance / Health
• Experience in Selenium or any other Salesforce Test automation tool like Provar
