Job Summary:


The Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling Diamond Mattress products to retailers, distributors, and other business clients in the Northern California region. This role requires an individual who is driven, customer-focused, and has experience in sales, preferably within the mattress, furniture, or home goods industries. The ideal candidate will work independently to identify new business opportunities, build relationships, and achieve sales targets while representing the Diamond Mattress brand with integrity and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Sales Growth: Drive revenue and market share growth for Diamond Mattress within Northern California by developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers and identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and industry partners, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of Diamond Mattress products, including mattresses, bed frames, and sleep accessories, to effectively present and sell to potential clients.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct product presentations and sales meetings with prospective clients, both virtually and in-person, effectively communicating the benefits and value of our products.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Territory Management: Manage a designated sales territory in Northern California, ensuring regular visits to key accounts and maintaining a high level of visibility in the market.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment in sales strategies and customer needs.


Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the mattress, furniture, or home goods industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques, territory management, and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Results-driven with a passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce or similar).
  • Ability to travel regularly within the Northern California region (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required).

  • Experience in the mattress or home furnishings industry.
  • Familiarity with Northern California’s retail landscape and market dynamics.
  • Existing network of relationships within the mattress, furniture, or home goods industries.
