Senior Account Manager – Chemical Ingredients (Pharma, Labs & Personal Care)

Territory: Paris & Northern France

Recruiting on behalf of our client – a leader in chemical solutions


We are partnering with a well-established client in the chemical and pharma ingredients sector to recruit a Senior Account Manager for the Paris and Northern France territory. Our client is known for delivering high-quality chemical products to clients in pharmaceutical manufacturing, research laboratories, and the personal care industry.


This role is a great opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a strong technical background and a track record of success in B2B chemical sales.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop key accounts across the assigned territory.
  • Drive sales of chemical ingredients and solutions to pharma manufacturers, biotech firms, research labs, and personal care product manufacturers.
  • Provide technical consultation to customers on product applications and formulations.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to regional sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal technical, customer service, and supply chain teams to deliver value to clients.


Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales of chemical products or ingredients.
  • Strong network within the pharma, lab, or personal care sectors in France.
  • Proven ability to manage complex B2B sales cycles and customer relationships.
  • Scientific or chemical-related academic background is a significant advantage.
  • Fluency in French and English is essential.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
  • Experience working with or through major chemical distributors would be a plus for future development, but is not essential.
