Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Executive to join our team and expand our microsurgery product range across India. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to one year of experience who are eager to work in a challenging startup environment and build a strong career in medical device sales. You will play a critical role in educating surgeons, hospital decision-makers, and distributors about our innovative microsurgical solutions, driving sales, and strengthening our market presence.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and engage potential customers, including microsurgeons, plastic surgeons, hospitals, and distributors.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for healthcare professionals.
- Convert leads into sales through relationship-building and consultative selling.
2. Market Expansion:
- Drive awareness and adoption of Shira’s microsurgery instruments in hospitals and surgical centers.
- Support the development and execution of sales strategies for the Indian market.
- Gather field insights and provide feedback to refine sales approaches and product development.
3. Customer Engagement & Support:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons and hospital procurement teams.
- Address customer inquiries, provide technical information, and ensure post-sales satisfaction.
- Assist in product trials, evaluations, and early-stage clinical adoption.
4. Startup Culture & Growth Mindset:
- Adapt to the fast-paced and dynamic environment of an early-stage startup.
- Take initiative, work independently, and contribute creative ideas to drive sales growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Biomedical, Pharmacy, or any relevant field.
Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 3 years of experience in medical device sales or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for healthcare innovation and eagerness to learn about microsurgery.
- Ability to travel within India for sales visits and customer meetings.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a challenging startup environment.
- Basic understanding of medical devices, anatomy, or sales processes (preferred but not mandatory).
