C&C Wholesale Distributors is looking for an experienced outside sales representative to manage our East Texas territory. C&C Wholesale Distributors is a family owned and operated flooring distribution company with a proven track record of success in the floor-covering industry since 1975. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Generate new business
• Check stock, sales numbers, and import orders into our company-wide computer system
• Fill out necessary forms required to get orders processed, order samples, issue credits and receive manufacture freight quotes
• Submit expense reports and call reports
• Attend trainings
• Sample all customers with product offerings
• Demonstrate products to customers

Ideal Qualities:

• Familiar with the floorcovering industry and products
• Experience calling on Presidents, owners, purchasers, and executives of all business sizes.
• Proven experience maintaining and growing business within an account
• Ability to win business that is currently buying from a competitor
• Ability to learn a large amount of product knowledge in a short amount of time
• Ability to sell on value, not on price
• Consultative seller that really uncovers what the customer/prospect needs
• Strong closing skills
• Outstanding customer service skills and reputation
• A team player who is willing to work with all members of the C&C team
• Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Has excellent time management skills
• Proficient computer skills
