Summary

Our client is a global Medical Device organisation who manufacture and distribute a large range of products into different therapy areas including: Cardiology, Vascular, Interventional Radiology, Neurosurgery and Operating Theatre. They are a specialised business who are currently going through a very strong period of growth internationally and within the ANZ market.


The ideal candidate will have proven sales results in the Medical Device industry and be able to build strong relations with a mix of surgeons and specialists. This candidate should have an ability to understand customer's needs in a given territory and educate on the product range in question


Responsibilities

  • Interpret sales and marketing data and determine effective sales strategies
  • Educate both consumers and colleagues about the product
  • Drive business growth of the product range and increase market share within VIC
  • Partner with the other VIC and National Sales colleagues
  • Support cases when required and spend time in Cath Lab/ OR
  • Build quality and value-add relations with surgeons and hospital staff


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Sales experience in Medical Devices is essential (minimum 2 years)
  • Ideally experience in Structural Heart but not Essential
  • Cardiology / Vascular / Radiology / Cardiac / Neurosurgery / Orthopaedics / Trauma sales experience highly desirable
  • Clinical exposure to the Cath Lab highly advantageous
  • Strong organisation, time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and with a niche customer group
