Charged with the supervision of all operations as well as the effective, efficient, and safe delivery of our services to our clients. Expected to work collaboratively and proactively with the Technicians, Account Manager, and Regional VP.
Leads the coordination of projects among the stakeholders of each project.
Responsible for the oversight of daily scheduling of crews on fulfilling both maintenance and project needs of clients.
Responsible for safety communications and compliance, company facilitates, jobsites, vehicle fleet, equipment, inventory, ordering/disposal of equipment, materials, and supplies.
Responsible for the operational P&L for the office.
Develops operational and budget reports.
Responsible for hiring, training, leading, assessing, managing, and motivating operations personnel.
Maintain close monitoring and/or supervision and reporting of the daily functions of the operations.
Assesses workmanship and ensure quality of projects.
Creates plans for good resource utilization, departmental capacity, growth, and improvement.
Communicates directly with the Customers, Technicians, Contractors, Vendors, and Suppliers.
Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and status reports for the Regional VP.
Ensures proper coding of timesheets as well as accuracy for hours worked.
Addresses any disciplinary issues or potential problems with any of the Technicians and projects.
Familiarity with all company policies as it relates to supervision, discipline, wages and work time.
Responsible for all aspects and safety relating to upkeep and cleanliness of the shop/warehouse, vans and equipment; stocking/ordering of supplies and materials, deliveries, etc.
Business development and execution of all services offered while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Make sales calls to new and existing clients and responds to inquiries/concerns.
Negotiates with clients and prepares estimates and proposals.
Inputs all opportunities into the Company’s software including Salesforce and Acumatica.
Reports on tactical/strategic appointments to the Regional VP and other team members.
Skills &Experience
Preferably a 4-year college degree in the areas of Business, Architecture, Real Estate, Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related areas of study
A minimum of 5 years working in building services (metal, stone, wood, glass restoration and refinishing), commercial real estate, construction management, related sales, architecture, or the architectural restoration field
3 to 5 years at the management level with direct supervisory experience including planning and assigning work, performance assessments, training, hiring, discipline, and development
Must have a minimum of 2 years of Sales and/or Operational management experience or a combination of the two
Ability to oversee the planning, organizing and execution of multiple projects; ability to read and understand construction/building specifications and blueprints helpful
Knowledge and experience with aspects of basic financial accounting in commercial real estate, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and projections
Excellent client relationship development and management skills required
Excellent technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills required
Excellent written and oral communications skills required
