Job Description CMS Landscaping is rapidly expanding and is looking for an Irrigation Technician to join our team effective immediately! Irrigation Technician Qualifications Valid/Clean Driver's License Must be 18+ years old Minimum of 2-years of hands-on work experience in the irrigation field · Ability to diagnose a repair issues with existing residential & commercial Irrigation Systems · Ability to startup Irrigation Systems in the spring and winterize them in the fall · Ability to check functionality of systems, adjust controllers, adjust heads, change nozzles, etc. to ensure proper coverage and watering efficiency. Responsibilities - Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning. - Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair and replace components such as valves, pipes, and sprinkler heads. - Perform regular inspections to identify leaks, clogs, or other system inefficiencies. - Collaborate with landscaping teams to integrate irrigation systems seamlessly into overall landscape design. - Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with irrigation equipment and tools. - Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and order - Mange route with efficiency and assist Irrigation Manager with shop maintenance and inventory. - Includes winter work (snow removal and vehicle/equipment maintenance) as needed.
